About the Role:
The Director, Integrated Insights Renal is a key member of the Renal DIA team. This position is re-sponsible and accountable for the generation of strategic Integrated insights for assigned assets in renal portfolio. The Director will partner with a variety of stakeholders (Product Strategy, Marketing Strategy, sales leadership, market access, patient support & service, digital, finance, advanced analytics & forecasting) to build Integrated insights and assure the validity and quality of the analyses. The Director also should demonstrate the ability to work independently with a proactive approach to meet business needs and deadlines. The person will report into Executive Director, Integrated Insights (Renal)
Key Responsibilities:
• Shape the vision and lead the integrated Insights for assigned Indications within Renal Therapeutic area
• Develop priorities for the Insights/Analytics based on needs of the business and input from teams /stakeholders.
• Uncover deep insights of patients, providers and other applicable customers using a variety of primary and secondary methodologies.
• Design, develop, and deliver various market research projects for timely, workable and proactive decision making while providing guidance and coaching to less experienced team members
• Maintain transparency into market research budgets, optimize deployment of resources, identify areas of improvement/productivity, and impact
• Proactively propose Insight solutions to business questions and problems and come up with new Insights driven ideas that enables better decision-making.
• Translate Insight findings into actionable recommendations, communicate through regular interaction with the team
• Maintain full compliance with internal and external guidelines: stay current on external and in-ternal guidelines
• Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt

Role Requirements
What You’ll Bring to the Role:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required; advanced degree in Business or quantitative disciplines is preferred (e.g. MBA, statistics, economics, science or mathematics).
Essential Requirements:
• 8+ years of pharmaceutical marketing research, analytics experience. Proven expertise in quantitative and qualitative research techniques including behavioral science.
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize information to develop recommendations, and ability to persuade / influence organization pursuit of recommended path
• Data Visualization Experience. Knowledge of Qlik, Tableau and other Innovation in Data Visualization.
• Extensive experience in using Pharma Secondary Data- Iqvia Claims, Symphony, Komodo etc.
• Expertise in combining insights from multiple sources and present comprehensive picture to stakeholders on key takeaways and learnings.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing complex situations and processes and effectively integrating and synthesizing the Insights to form a complete cohesive picture
• Proven self-starter with high standards of excellence and an innovative mind. Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines. Excels at interacting with a diverse group of people, all levels of management, including senior leadership.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $192,000 and $288,000/year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/23 through 12/31/23, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company re-serves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
