About this role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual for our Learning Solutions Specialist position, with high learning agility to join our team as a Learning Solutions Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for utilizing your technological & digital savviness and strong analytical mindset to provide valuable insights and ensure quality analytics and metrics on learning deliverables. You will also utilize your expertise in learning management systems and execution of in person & virtual learning events to ensure a high-quality learning experience.
Key responsibilities:
* Prepare and deliver monthly metrics and reporting for key stakeholders, highlighting key findings and practical insights.
* Analyze and clean complex data sets, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
* Apply strong analytical skills to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement within the data.
* Effectively contribute to the management of the department portfolio by accurately managing department book of work tools, systems, processes, and QC support for learning deliverables.
* Management of the learning catalogue, course creation/scheduling and execution of in person, virtual and blended learning solutions.
* Build relationships and collaborate with and delegate to Novartis departments that support the delivery of learning programs, (i.e., Learning & Talent Services, Internal Meetings & Events)
* In collaboration with cross-department colleagues, ensure successful logistics and operations of department learning deliverables through delegation and oversight, including on site and virtual support, as needed.
* Perform required tasks as defined in the Learning Management System (LMS) local administrator role, including operational activities for all department courses to ensure accurate entry in the LMS.
* Ensure digital enablement, functionality and maintenance of learning programs within our learning platforms.
* Own the execution of department purchase orders (POs) and contributing to the department budget.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $76,300 and $114,500 / year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/23 through 12/31/23, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Minimum requirements
Essential requirements:
* This position will be located at the East Hanover, NJ site and will not have the ability to be located remotely. This position will not require travel as defined by the business (domestic and/ or international).
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Analytics, Learning).
* 2 – 4 years proven experience with large company in related fields.
* Excellent logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Proven experience in a consulting or analytical role, with a strong focus on data analysis and problem-solving.
* Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, with a keen eye for detail in data cleaning. Ability to learn new tools and technologies.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with team members and cross-department colleagues.
* Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with global partners.
Desirable requirements
* Knowledge of financial management practices, including budgeting and purchase order execution.
* Commitment to flexible working hours as global team members in different time zones.
