Notre Dame Jr/Sr High School is a Roman Catholic diocesan scholastic institution located in Utica, New York, serving students in grades 6-12.

Seeking a candidate for the following teaching opportunities in support of the 2022-2023 school year:

· Special Education Resource Room Teacher

Essential Criteria for Candidates

· Develop and maintain effective working relationships with students, parents, and school leadership team

· Apply innovative teaching strategies to engage, challenge, and inspire students

· Excellent communication skills

· Work collaboratively with other teaching staff

· Plan data-driven, standards aligned lessons and activities

· Establish and maintain a supportive, productive, and positive learning environment with strong classroom management practices

Necessary Qualifications and Training

· New York State teacher certification in Special Education

· Pass a background check

· Candidates in the process of New York State certification will be considered on a case by case basis
