Position Highlights:
* Position: Registered Nurse, Employee Health Services
* Location: Highland Park Hospital
* Full Time/Part Time: Full-time (Exempt)
* Hours: Monday – Friday between 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
* Required Travel: Monday – Thursday will be primarily at the Highland Park location, and will travel to Glenbrook or Evanston locations on Fridays and for employee vacation coverage.
What you will need:
* License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
* Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN preferred
* Certification: BLS/CPR certification required (American Heart Association BLS for the Healthcare Provider)
* Experience: 1 year of nursing experience in an physician practice or hospital setting preferred
What you will do:
* The RN, Employee Health Services works collaboratively to maximize employee productivity and advance the overall health and safety of the workforce.
* Coordinate and performing pre-placement history and screenings, conducting return to work clearances, fit-for-duty evaluations, and annual screenings and assessments.
* Ability to multi-task and reflects clinical experience incorporating initiative, flexibility, and team effort.
* Participate in our Needle Stick (BBFE) Hotline On-Call Schedule. This schedule is 100% remote and is stipend paid for each time a call is assigned.
* Effectively interact with the NorthShore University HealthSystem workforce, Human Resources, medical staff, and management, while maintain ANA standards of professional nursing.
