• Hours: Monday through Friday during the day. 7am-3:30pm

What you will need:

• License: Current professional Certified Nurse Midwife Licensure (CNM) in the state of IL required; Federal DEA and Illinois Controlled Substance License required
• Education: Completion of Masters level program in specialty area
• Certification: BLS/CPR certification required
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience as Certified Nurse Midwife practitioner preferred
• Skills: N/A

What you will do:

• Work closely with other providers to deliver a full scope of gynecological and obstetrical care in line with the NorthShore obstetrics and gynecology clinical privileges core procedure list and NorthShore obstetrics practice guidelines
• Practice promoting wellness and prevent illness and injury
• Function in the Labor and Delivery unit including working autonomously and in interdisciplinary teams as resources and consultants
• Independently manage and provide comprehensive health care to pregnant, laboring and postpartum women in the inpatient setting
• Independently manage and provide comprehensive health care to antepartum, postpartum, and gynecological women in the outpatient/clinic setting
