Primary Purpose of
Position
The primary purpose of the Eligibility and Certification Clerk is to serve as the university certification officer
for athletic certification and eligibility; Determine eligibility for athletic competitions for intercollegiate sports according to NCAA,
CAA, and University rules and policies. Position will verify all student athletes at the beginning of the school year and complete mid-year
certification processing to determine all athletes remain eligible.
Primary Function of Organizational
Unit
The primary function of the Office of the Registrar is to provide support services to students, faculty, and staff in
an efficient and timely manner. Responsibilities and activities in these support services include, but are not limited to, registration of
students, certification of enrollment status, withdrawal of students from classes, processing official transcript requests, maintaining
academic records, repeated courses, processing applications for graduation, maintenance of demographic data and scheduling of
courses.

* Maintains an individual file on each student athletes.

and documentation.
* Processes certify all student athletics at various times during the semester.

functions, which include but are not limited to: processing transcript request, registration, change of majors, change of address, and
answering phones.

* Updates eligibility reports.
* Completes student
eligibility forms for campus recreation competitions and national competitions, student union, and university clubs.
