LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE ACCOUNT MANAGER

SUMMARY

The Landscape Maintenance Account Manager maintains client relations and development of Commercial/Residential Landscape accounts. Works with customers on a daily basis, meeting budgets and goals, while supervising and developing a full-service team of landscape maintenance employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Work closely with operations staff to ensure all services are performed according to contract specifications, on budget, and quality assurance.
• Strong customer relation skills, with the ability to demonstrate effective written and verbal communication with internal and external clients
• Analyze and understand cost reports and budget variances related to client accounts
• Effectively communicate with management and production teams the tasks necessary to provide a consistent, high-quality product for customers
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills; develop morale and recognize employee achievements
• Foster opportunities for professional development of employees
• Constantly promote and encourage adherence to company policies and safety practices
• Maintain safe work practices, hold regular Safety Meetings, report all incidents and accidents to management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Professional communications and labor crew management
• Professional knowledge of plant, tree, and lawn maintenance
• Previous experience as a Landscape Maintenance Account Manager
• Irrigation and construction knowledge is a plus
• Horticultural knowledge is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to present an effective sales presentation – written and verbal
• Keen eye for detail requirements of estimating and preparing proper bid
• Sales and growth oriented, profit driven – seek ways to cut costs, improve efficiency and increase margins
• Effective problem-solving skills and an ability to handle adversity
• Technically competent and skilled in Landscape Maintenance Management
• Mechanically capable of landscape equipment maintenance & minor repairs

COMPENSATION

$50K – $70K Depending On Experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
