Position Title: Senior Manager, Compensation Location: Atlanta, GA The Senior Manager, Compensation supports a variety of Compensation and Total Rewards related projects and programs: salary increases, short-term and long-term incentive compensation, job evaluations, retention, fleet, reimbursement benefits, and recognition including years of service. He/she will support and help centralize information related to employee compensation for all Newell Brands global locations while serving as the primary Compensation contact for select Business Segments and Functions in North America. Additionally, he/she will provide consultation to HR leaders in these Business Segments, communicating and ensuring compliance with compensation guidelines/philosophy and ensuring consistency of related practices within the broader organization. Key Responsibilities: + Manage year-end compensation cycle, including systems, reporting, statements, audits, training, and performance management aspects + Serve as primary Corporate Compensation contact for cross-functional partners such as Finance, Accounting, Legal, Sourcing/Procurement, HR Service Delivery (HRSD), HRIS, Talent Development, Talent Acquisition, and Payroll teams + Serve as subject matter expert on compensation programs and policies for HR and Business teams + Lead the process for evaluating new jobs, determining appropriate salary band and title assignment based on findings + Assembles, maintains, and audits data for annual management & sales bonus payouts and works with leadership to finalize and apply final payout calculations + Provide regular bonus & other incentive (i.e. retention) accruals to Corporate Business Planning & Analytics team, reconciling as needed + Ensure HR is trained on compensation programs and structure, including job codes, bonus plan design/eligibility, approvals, etc. + Create presentations and provide regular Compensation/Total Rewards updates to the HR Leadership team and Business Leadership when needed + Manage the service award program to promote success across the enterprise, including: + Lead program Champions and partner with key work streams (i.e. Corporate Communications) to oversee continued program initiatives and enhancements + Manage vendor relationship + Own related processes such as program budget, data file(s), invoicing, surveys, and design/delivery/allocation of reward cards (for manufacturing populations) Key Qualifications: + The successful candidate will be a proven business partner with Compensation experience in a global company + S/he will have a proven track record of analyzing compensation strategies and processes that clearly support the objectives of the business + The successful candidate must be hands-on and comfortable with tactical execution, flexible with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment and highly organized + Minimum five years of compensation experience, plus related degree or equivalent additional experience + Experience researching and submitting major salary survey data + Advanced Microsoft Office tools-Word, PowerPoint and Excel + Knowledge of HRIS and use of reward systems in large environments + Must have excellent oral and written presentation skills, including presentations to groups + Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information + Strong project management orientation + Self-starter with the ability to handle competing priorities and partner with different teams Newell Brands (NASDAQ: NWL) is a leading global consumer goods company with a strong portfolio of well-known brands, including Rubbermaid, FoodSaver, Calphalon, Sistema, Sharpie, Paper Mate, Dymo, EXPO, Elmer’s, Yankee Candle, Graco, NUK, Rubbermaid Commercial Products, Spontex, Coleman, Campingaz, Oster, Sunbeam and Mr. Coffee.
