New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) Looking for Assistant Director of Admissions Systems and CRM Management Full Time

Under the direction of the Director of Admission and
Recruitment Marketing, the Assistant Director of Admissions Systems and CRM Management is responsible for the set-up, operation,
maintenance, reporting, and integrity of the Admissions CRM (Slate Technolutions) and other related enrollment systems, including Banner and
Axiom.

New Jersey Institute of Technology, founded in 1881, is a public polytechnic research university located in the University
Heights neighborhood of Newark, New Jersey, USA. The university is organized into 16 academic departments within five academic colleges:
Newark College of Engineering, College of Science and Liberal Arts, Hillier College of Architecture and Design, Ying Wu College of
Computing, and Martin Tuchman School of Management, in addition to the Albert Dorman Honors College.

Essential Functions:

• Serve as the primary Admissions CRM (Slate Technolutions)
  point of contact;
• Serve as the primary technical liaison for the Office of University Admissions to external vendors (Slate,
  SPARK451, Common Application, Axiom, etc.) as well as internal constituents (Academic Information Systems, Information Services and
  Technology, Enrollment Services, etc.);
• Ensure the data integrity of prospect and applicant records and the effective transfer of
  information to university systems;
• Identify and implement new or unused CRM features in order to achieve the system’s maximum
  potential;
• Solve technical issues to increase operational functionality;
• Identify, evaluate, and implement new
  technological solutions that best support the strategic enrollment goals of the university;
• Responsible for testing of systems and
  updates prior to migration to production environment;
• Plan, implement, and monitor Slate integrations;
• Use CRM to develop
  queries and Cognos and Microsoft Applications (such as Excel and Access) to develop reports.

Additional
Functions:

• Train all new CRM users;
• Maintain and update student records in Banner;
• Represent University
  Admissions at university-wide meetings and/or committees as assigned by the Director of Admission and Recruitment Marketing;
• Attend
  Slate conferences (when appropriate and with approval from supervisor) and keep abreast of ongoing changes/enhancements related to the
  CRM;
• Participate in admission/recruitment events (open house, admitted student day, etc.) and work evening and weekend hours as
  needed;
• Other duties as assigned by the Director.

Prerequisite Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s
  degree;
• Minimum of two years of work experience in admissions, student information systems, or a related field in higher
  education;
• Experience working with a CRM.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree;
• Prior experience in Admissions;
• Prior experience with Slate CRM;
• Prior experience with Ellucian products (Banner, BRM,
  and BDMS);
• Demonstrated knowledge and competency with reporting tools (HTML, SQL, Cognos).

university an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
