Essential Job Duties:
The primary purpose of this position includes but is not limited to:
The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative support for the Department. This position supports the administrative needs of assigned faculty, typing correspondence and generating reports as needed to promote the individual’s relevant clinical, research and educational goals and objectives. The position also provides data entry, packet collation, website and design support, documenting invoice payments, receiving and posting all incoming checks, monitoring contracts and coordinating repair services. The position is also responsible for managing multiple incoming phone lines to the department and triage calls as appropriate, greeting walk-ins and referring/assisting visitors to the administrative office. This position manages the primary conference room calendar, the office supply inventory, coordinates and manages mail services for all faculty, staff and students, updates the department directories and posts important notices to multiple work locations across campus. This position is cross-trained to fulfill responsibilities of other administrative staff in the event of their absence.
