Position Summary:
The Senior Human Resources (HR) Change Management Specialist is
responsible for change management, advancement, and strategic alignment of
process development and digital transformation efforts to support the strategy
of improving overall service performance. This position manages the development
and implementation of employee-focused change management strategies, meant to
improve organizational effectiveness and drive business results through
thoughtful use of employee resources.
Essential Functions:
– Serve as the Organizational Change Management (OCM) lead for the implementation of an enterprise-wide Employee Resource Platform (ERP); establish a network of change agents across the institution to drive service enhancements, process improvement, and ERP adoption.
– Build and foster collaborative working relationships across HR units and with university stakeholders, particularly those that will require close partnership to successfully implement the ERP.
– Collaborate with leadership in the development and execution of communication and training strategies related to changes that significantly impact the employee experience.
– Provide leadership, guidance and support to appropriate committees and lead meetings in order to facilitate service enhancements.
– Assist ERP project managers with the development and implementation of new processes or operating models and create timelines and project plans detailing the implementation process, specifically focusing on how employees’ work will change.
– Lead HR web and communication strategy to drive stakeholder buy-in, socialization, and adoption of new processes and digital platforms.
– Provide expertise and support to units across HR to improve performance by applying a systematic process for analyzing performance gaps and providing recommendations to address and close gaps.
– Performs other duties as assigned.
Prerequisite Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s
degree in an appropriate area of specialization plus 5 years of relevant
professional experience.

the university’s discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be
exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the
university, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically
preparing the candidate for success in the position.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Formal
experience or training in change management, consulting, communications,
project management, organization development, or service/process improvement is
preferred.
– Formal experience leading change initiatives related to process
improvement and digital transformation in a higher education environment is
also preferred.
