SUMMARY

The Account Manager is a sales position that serves as the primary relationship owner for an assigned group of client accounts with responsibility for retention and growth. Ensure clients derive maximum value from our services and offerings. Prepare implementation plans and lead client on-boarding; present content strategy and quarterly plans. Work closely with clients to identify sourcing needs including the ability to work with vendors to ensure best pricing.

Excellent presentation, customer service, and negotiating skills utilized to succeed in this role. Demonstrate expertise in gaining access and selling to decision makers to ensure a deep enough understanding of clients’ individual needs.

Please note, this is an In-Office position. Office is in Exeter, NH.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Obtain individual gross profit and new account goals
• Engage new and existing customers to provide value around how they can be more successful with our current business model
• Prospect new and existing customers to locate potential clients
• Respond to RFQ’s in a timely and professional manner
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills: writing, call cadence, and documentation
• Ability to keep customer informed of ship dates, tracking information, and lead times
• Build and maintain a consistently strong pipeline
• Identify new and emerging markets
• Maintain all clients and prospects data in a secure and computerized database CRM and sales engagement tool
• Ability to work as a team with all departments within the organization
• Excellent sales, negotiation, and team building skills and techniques is required

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 5 years successful experience in sales
• Experience in technology hardware sales business models is preferred but not required
• Ability and experience selling to Manager and Director levels within the organization
• Experience managing and directing the entire sales cycle from beginning to close
• Candidate will be strategic in finding new business using technical knowledge and skillset
• Creation and execution of quarterly and annual business plans
• Good management presence, communication skills, and credibility
• Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding assigned annual/quarterly goals and targets
• Attentive to forecasting and business reporting responsibilities
• At least an intermediate level in using Microsoft Office products. Outlook, Excel, and Word

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
