POSITION DESCRIPTION:

This Payable Services analyst position is responsible for supporting the Nestle Purchasing Card (P-Card) program for all Operating Companies in the US by executing recurring compliance activities, maintaining training materials and reference documents, and implementing improvements to streamline and standardize our processes which includes digital solutions. The person selected for this role will need to create a balance between executing recurring tasks and completing assigned projects. We are looking for an individual who will provide excellent customer service, be enthusiastic about process improvements, drive change, work with minimal supervision, and be a collaborator. This role will interact with our Operating Company (OpCo) customers, our third-party provider (DXC) who administers our program, and American Express (AMEX).

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform and monitor quarterly limit review with support of a BOT, which includes analyzing cards limits and spend, distributing reports P-Card management, tracking responses and change requests, and following up with unresponsive managers.
• Sustain digital solution for monthly recurring reports and dashboards as well as completed adhoc reporting requests using Power BI.
• Examine DXC’s PPMs for accuracy and completeness and work with team to make necessary updates.
• Maintain up-to-date training materials and reference documents on our Payable Services P-Card website, which includes assessing step-by-step instructions for accuracy and completeness, updating materials within Word/PowerPointExcel, and posting updated documents to our internal website.
• Collaborate with team members to revamp and maintain iLearn training course and participate live training opportunities to help support our end users.
• Create a stronger P-Card community with ways to share information and ask questions, like a Workplace group.
• Assist as needed with acquisition and divestiture tasks, including attending recurring meetings, generating reports, and tracking compliance requirements.
• Learn month end close processes to assist when other team members are out of the office.
• Complete P-Card process reviews and document opportunities for continuous improvement activities using Nestle Continuous Excellence and Lean Office methodology, collaborating with internal and external teams, as necessary.
• Explore automation possibilities using applications like Power Apps and Power BI and implement solutions to increase our digital capabilities.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal & external business partners to drive efficiencies.

MINIMUMM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or comparable experience.
• Intermediate Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills necessary and some SAP knowledge a plus.
• Experience with automating processes using Microsoft applications (or other comparable tools) and/or motivation to learn a plus.
• 2 years’ experience preferred in purchasing, accounts payable, managing credit card programs, shared services, and/or comparable field but not required.
