Overview
The Business Office Coordinator (BOC) assists Patient Care Services (PCS) with Central Staffing Office (CSO) program administration, quality and process improvement, project management, departmental administrative functions, various aspects of PCS team orientation, professional development, and performance management. The BOC provides direct support to the department Business Manager and Vice President as needed, ensuring excellent customer service to all stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Evaluates daily resource allocation of staffing coordinators including development of metrics to evaluate need and efficiency. Prepares reports and presentations as needed by PCS leadership.
* Collaborates with Human Resources and PCS leaders to perform functions relevant to interviewing, hiring, onboarding, developing, and evaluating PCS team members.
* Develops and maintains many formats of standardized training and orientation materials for various PCS roles. Supports and mentors PCS staff in management of projects, educational training programs, and ongoing professional development.
* Produces and promotes quality and process improvement initiatives for essential PCS functions and systems, and requests service feedback from key stakeholders to continuously improve PCS service.
* Creates, implements, and directs innovative communication practices or platforms that provide efficient and transparent information to multiple customers.
* Coordinates shadowing experiences for Charge RNs and stakeholders including creating itineraries, scheduling, and gathering feedback.
* Leads PCS projects from design to implementation, including continuous analysis and reporting of key outcome measures.

Qualifications
Education Requirement:
Associate degree, Bachelor degree, or equivalent experience in a similar role, required.
Skills:
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Experienced with SharePoint
* Advanced excel formulas/functions, preferred.
Experience:
* 5 years administrative experience, required.
* 3 years of office management or supervisory experience, preferred.
* Experience in a healthcare setting, preferred.
