Senior IT Program Manager (PgM)
MYMIC is seeking an IT Program Manager to provide Enterprise Software Application Support to the Department of the Navy (DON) Electronic Procurement System (ePS) to modernize and consolidate the DON legacy Contract Writing Systems.
The objective of this contract is to enable Naval Applications and Business Services to effectively manage the ePS portfolio of procurement capabilities and its environment, as well as providing and evolving portfolio capabilities in accordance with DoDI 5000.87. The ePC will manage government selected component integration and the data layer and serve as application administrator in the primary hosting environment in accordance with the technical and functional capability roadmap for the portfolio. The ePC will implement and support Agile and DevSecOps to deliver capabilities based on the Government prioritization of ePS requirements.
Location: Hybrid Remote but must reside in the DC Metro area for onsite support as needed.
PgM Responsibilities:
· Maintain all ePS artifacts, technical documentation, configuration files, and source code in Government-controlled repositories using DevSecOps tools.
· Lead and manage all Scrum sessions pertaining to contract scope.
· Provide technical and functional dependencies for Solution Manager and Product Owner consideration during backlog refinement and sprint planning.
· Plan, execute, monitor, and report schedule, resources, and budget required to successfully accomplish the tasks contained in the PWS.
· Participate in required post-award conference meetings and program reviews, as necessary, for the successful completion of this effort.
· Provide Monthly Status Reports and the Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS) Draft Approval Document.
Requirements:
· DoD Secret
· Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field; Master’s degree desired
· CompTIA Security+; additional certifications desired
· Certified Program Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Black Belt, or Certified Scrum Master (desired)
· 10+ Years of PgM experience, preferably in DoD, managing application development projects of varying size and scope
· Experience with:
o Appian and/or other low-code platforms (e.g., Bizflow, React and Advana)
o Java, JavaScript, Kubernetes, COBOL, Oracle, MarkLogic
o Red Hat Enterprise Linux
o Infrastructure as Code (IaC) software tools (e.g., Terraform), and container platforms (e.g., Openshift, Tanzu)
