The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with Elmhurst Hospital Center, serving the culturally diverse community of Western Queens, is seeking a full-time board certified/ board eligible psychiatrist to join the Adult Inpatient Consultation-Liaison team.
The candidate would work alongside other attendings on a highly active teaching service, supervising medical students and residents on a daily basis. Opportunities exist for teaching and academic projects within the Department of Psychiatry and its residency training program.
The appropriate candidate should have completed a fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry and be dedicated to education and patient care. In addition, we offer faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Health System. The Department collaborates with numerous schools in providing training programs in the areas of psychology, nursing and medicine.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team working with a diverse patient population. Elmhurst Hospital Center offers a collegial environment and competitive salary and benefits. This position requires current New York State License, Medicaid number and DEA number in order to practice medicine.
