Morgan State University Looking for Operations Manager (Contractual) Full Time

Job Duties

Morgan State University is seeking an Operations Manager for the new Maternal Health Equity
Coordinating Center (MHECC). The position is federally funded by a grant under the Health Resources and Services Administration Maternal and
Child Health Bureau (HRSA MCHB). The duties included in the position are as follows: Ensure effective proactive operation of the project
through management of daily operations, oversight of budget and contracts; supervision of the Project Manager, Mentoring Coordinator, and
Mentoring Assistant; support development and implementation of policies, procedures, strategies and guidance; manage and maintain the
overall project schedule including regular status updates, identification of risks and mitigation strategies; and ensure project compliance
with all process, procedural and legal requirements.

Requested Minimum Qualifications

The successful
candidate must have a Master’s Degree in Business, Project Management or a related field from an accredited college or university. At least
seven years of experience in a Senior Management Capacity, managing research based initiatives is required. At least 3 years of managing
complex projects is also required.
