MCA, your trusted advisor for wireless communications, data, and security, is seeking an experienced LMR Engineer on the East Coast to support our fast-growing MSS division.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING :
Analyzing site and path survey results.
Participating in FCC coordination and licensing processing.
Reading and working from manufacturing drawings and schematics.
Finalizing designs and bill of materials.
Developing test and cutover plans.
Supporting the Field Technician teams during field integration and testing services.
Developing a logical implementation of work.
Developing informative block diagrams.
Proving implementation support.
Developing proposals and responses to RFPs.
Maintaining andestablishing effective working relationships with other employees, subcontractors, and customers.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM :
Bachelor’s degree S in Electrical / Computer Engineering or Applicable work experience in lieu of degree
Minimum of 3 years of system engineering or related experience, preferred.
Solid background in engineering principles and RF fundamentals.
Knowledge of concepts, characteristics, capabilities, and theoretical design of Commercial,P25 two-way, and microwave radio equipment.
Experience in IP network operations, WAN, and LAN technologies, and protocols, preferably in a communications service provider environment.
Knowledge of IP Routing and Switching.
Must be detail-oriented, and able to work without constant supervision.
Ability to multi-task in a demanding, results-driven environment.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Project, required.
Must have a strong technical electronics background, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to conduct failure analysis.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear; lift (overhead, waist level) from the floor, bending, frequently utilize near vision use for reading and computer use; occasionally move equipment weighing up to 15 pounds, and frequently position self to maintain computers or other equipment as needed.
