How you’ll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
Strategic Planning: Creative ability to look at data and design better systems for improving plant throughput.
Team Leader in cross-functional groups that address challenges and make improvements.
Level Load production by creating production delivery dates for each manufactured part that are calculated based on customer due dates, bill of material levels and other considerations. Provide a continuous even flow of production activities.
Capacity planning: Utilizing the level loaded program, pull data out of ERP system showing estimated labor grouped by month, project and resource group. This data is used to make suggestions for overtime, additional headcount and/or cross-training. Data will be presented in charts that show our progress in earning hours against the plan and recovery plans.
Leads the Production Planning Team in lieu of manager.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
Four to six year’s relative work experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or Management. (Six years of relative experience may be substituted).
Advanced MS Excel or MS Access skills and reading Engineering blueprints.
Must be organized and an effective worker, presenting good communication skills.

Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
