Minot State University
Athletics is seeking a self-motivated, highly energetic and goal oriented individual to proactively develop a highly connected and energized
game environment, grow revenue within our ticketed sports programs, while increasing attendance. The position is responsible for devising
and executing strategies to drive ticket sales, incremental revenue, attendance, and a next-level game environment.
This includes
using extensive marketing and promotional strategies to generate and increase interest, attendance, and brand loyalty. Candidate must have a
strong knowledge of marketing principles, social media, advertising campaigns, and other strategies necessary to increase attendance at MSU
athletic events.
Must create and maintain first-class game atmosphere at MSU home athletic events by planning and directing event and
game management activities including videoboard content, theme nights, special events, anthem performers, halftime acts, and giveaways.
The Assistant Director of Athletics for Revenue & Fan Development will report to the Director of External Affairs and have direct access

Details
oCollaborate with the office of Assistant Athletic Director for Development/Beaver Booster Club:
§ External proposals.
§
Bundling of inventory.
§ Concessions.
oSeason tickets, single game, group sales and ticket sales initiatives for:
§
Football, Women’s Soccer, Men’s & Women’s Basketball, and Men’s & Women’s Hockey
oAbility to effectively develop, implement and
execute sales plans, including elevated experiences and season tickets.
oWork hand in hand with Marketing, Operations, Development and
Communications/Media Relations to ensure all ticketing initiatives are properly executed.
oMeet and exceed sales and retention
goals.
oDevelop new business for MSU through prospecting new fans, generating referrals and leads, cold calling, and face to face
appointments.
oLead by example and conduct daily sales calls.
oDevelopment and management of a group ticket & season ticket
sales staff
oMonitor volume of outbound phone calls and appointments to ensure results are achieved.
oMaintain accurate database
records.
oResponsible for on-going sales training and daily oversight of strategies and techniques.
oRecruit, train and lead a
team of student employees to manage promotional events on gameday.
oExperience with digital platforms including social media, websites and video production required.
oIncludes supervision of all Marketing, Tickets, and Promotion’s operations and staff.
§ Work closely with the office of
Communication and Media Relations collaborating with messaging.
§ Create a positive game day experience and engage fan experience.
§ Coordinate Game Day messaging.
§ Acquire services from next-level PA Announcer.
§ Cheerleading, Band, and Mascot(s).
§ Music.
§ Tailgating.
§ Food & Drink.
§ Develop opportunities for incremental revenue:
§ Manage all
available media advertising trade for radio, print and TV advertising along with digital marketing and e-mail marketing.
§ Oversight
for in-game programming including development of PA script, timing sheet, video board marketing, program sales, sponsorships, and
recognitions.
§ Building relationships and trust with season ticket holders, donors, and returning customers through open and
interactive communication.
§ Manage game day service and sales initiatives at home athletics events.
§ Deliver first-class
customer service to all fans, investors, and constituents of MSU Athletics.
