A Wedding Venue Planner is someone who has a deep passion for planning, customer service and food. They are problem-solvers with strong work ethic and leadership skills. A Venue Planner understands that client satisfaction is key, especially with venue planning and catering services. Must be well-organized and competent in vendor management. The goal is to organize unforgettable weddings that will ensure the entertainment of participants and facilitate the completion of business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Understand requirements for each wedding per client and management
• Update event orders as needed
• Plan event with attention to financial and time constraints
• Ability to work until 8pm 2-3 weekdays each week to accommodate client’s appointments (no weekends are required).

Skills

• Proven experience as event coordinator
• A proven track record of organizing successful events
• Have a “can-do” positive attitude
• Proficient in MS Office
• Excellent vendor management skill
• Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
• Well-organized with multi-tasking skills
• Able to handle stress and remain calm
• Problem-solving ability
• Degree in hospitality management, public relations or relevant field is preferred

Pay: $45,000 – $60,000 per year
