Title: Community Health Consultant – CCFH
$24.03 – $28.85 / Posted thru: 5-7-23
Work location: Remote – Must be a Michigan Resident
Purpose:The individual in this position works in the Center for Child and Family Heath (CCFH) to provide consultation, technical assistance, and data collection support to county-level, multi-disciplinary teams participating in the Michigan Child Death Review (CDR) Program and the Overdose Fatality Review (OFR) Program. This position will support other local, state, and national fatality review efforts to inform policy and practice changes and prevent future fatalities.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Education:Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline required. A Master’s degree in public health, social work, criminal justice, or other relevant discipline highly preferred.
Experience:Four to five years‘ experience in child welfare, criminal justice, direct service organization, or public health required.
Important Skills and Characteristics:
WorkEnvironment and Physical Requirements: Currently, this position will be working from a home office, with ability to attend in-person meetings as needed. The position may require moderate physical effort including working with PCs 25% to 75% of the time. Requires valid vehicle operator’s license and travel.
Responsibility for the Work of Others:No assigned responsibility.
Impact on Project, Services, and Operations:This position is integral to supporting and strengthening the Michigan Child Death Review Program and the Overdose Fatality Review Program as well as maintaining MPHI’s role as a leader in helping communities create safe and healthy environments for Michigan’s citizens.
