The University Data Modeler position is a highly technical position with responsibility to lead the development, validation, publishing, and maintenance of logical and physical data models. You’ll be an integral part of providing data-driven insights that inform significant University wide decisions.
The University Data Modeler will be expected to leverage their knowledge of data modeling best practices, cross industry data expertise and data modeling tool expertise. As a member of our team, reporting to the Director of the Business Intelligence Team, you will have great opportunities to grow technically and professionally in multiple data disciplines.
Duties/Physical Demands:
As a member of the Miami team, you will be a part of our efforts to pursue the best solutions for the University and have great opportunities to grow technically and professionally through annual training.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree earned by date of hire and 2+ years of relevant work experience
OR
Associate’s degree earned by date of hire and 4+ years of relevant work experience
OR
6+ years of relevant experience
This position is available to persons who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time and indefinite basis. (Persons authorized to work on such a basis include US citizens, lawful permanent residents (“green card” holders), asylees, refugees, and temporary residents under IRCA.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field earned by date of hire.
