Position Overview
Merrimack College has an immediate need for a
full-time Academic Progress Coach and Coordinator in Student Success, This is a full-year position, not an academic year position. This
position will report to the Dean of Student Success.
Position Summary
The position is an Academic Progress
Coach, with a full caseload, and has additional responsibilities serving as the coordinator of the probation programs and support services.
The Academic Progress Coach and Coordinator works with a caseload of students one-on-one to support the academic development of students on
academic probation. Also, this person may be meeting with students who are not on academic probation but are seeking assistance in time
management, organizational skills, and other academic related skills. As the program Coordinator, this person manages two grad fellows and a
part-time Academic Progress Coach, is responsible for training and mentoring these staff, is responsible for organizing and analyzing data
to understand program effectiveness and areas for improvement, and works closely with the Dean of Student Success and other leaders in
Student Success to continually improve the quality and impact of our efforts.
