The student services advisor will report directly to the Associate Director, Advising Operations. The position is responsible for assisting in performing advising operations functions and academic advising for the College of Science and Health’s Office of Advising and Student Services (OASS). Specific responsibilities include advising all CSH non-degree students and newly readmitted undergraduate students, updating degree progress reports after program plan changes and inter-college transfer changes, creating independent studies, processing course add and swap requests, and creating and maintaining metrics in databases.
The student services advisor will assist with DPR analysis during quarterly degree conferral audits, new first year and transfer student, DPR audits, transfer credit approval requests, manages the [email protected] email inbox and assists in managing operations requests the [email protected] and [email protected] email inboxes.
Additionally, the student services advisor will coordinate all program logistics for two summer research programs.
