Machine Learning Engineer / MLOps Hybrid Engineer
The Team
The Data Platform team for our Animal Health division creates end to end data products to support internal and external customer initiatives. The team is responsible for provisioning cloud infrastructure, data ingestion, transformation, and storage and for development and deployment of data science and BI capabilities. The team works with product owners, data scientists, business stakeholder, and domain leads to deliver data products and Data as a Service capabilities.- The team ingests and processes data from multiple technologies in the Animal Health industry and creates and deploys Machine Learning algorithms that generate actionable insights to improve animal wellbeing worldwide.-

The Role
We are looking for a machine learning engineer who also has experience performing ML Ops Engineering duties for a hybrid role, that will build scalable data science applications ready for production. As a member of the Data Platform team, you will have opportunity to work with a modern data architecture and experience a range of cloud data tools. You will design/automate/deploy data engineering and machine learning pipelines. You will work with data engineers, cloud engineers, data scientists, QA engineers and developers to help bring customer facing applications in the Animal Health industry to life. As an ML Engineer/MLOps Hybrid Engineer in the Animal Health space, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with Data Scientist to Some sources of data includes data on cattle, pigs, and companion animals such as cats and dogs. You will work with cross-functional teams within the different species space to improve or develop ML solutions for new or existing applications. The capabilities you help develop can have an impact in improving animal wellbeing worldwide. The team is in the forefront of technology and innovation, and you will be encouraged to explore new technologies and recommend solutions to help us expand our capabilities.

Under New York City, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected salary range:
$80,320.00 – $126,500.00
