The Learning Consultant supports Learning Directors and Learning Partners in the execution of the L&D strategy through consulting on appropriate learning solutions. They will have ownership for a client group’s learning strategy, either independent of or within a Learning Partner’s client base. The Learning Consultant will also engage in deeper-level consulting on larger learning projects (e.g., with SMEs during work analysis, differentiating needs among target audiences) They apply understanding of key business priorities/processes and internal and external best practices to learning solutions. Partners with key divisional stakeholders to identify performance needs and gaps, collaborates with design experts and operational support points on desired performance and business outcomes. Builds and maintains strong business relationships and learn from and apply insights from an integrated learning network. Success in this role depends on a candidate’s ability to apply adult learning theory in their area of responsibility, collaborate with Learning Creation, Learning Portfolio Office and Delivery to bring high impact learning solutions, and deliver business value through learning interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Support manager and collaborates with peers to deliver a coherent, efficient, and strategically aligned approach to learning and development planning and implementation.
• Execute learning solutions in their respective business areas, partnering with business clients, Learning Creation and Learning Portfolio Office to ensure sustainable business results.
• Develop depth of business understanding to maximize relevance and impact on business outcomes.
• Responsible for the end-to-end oversight of learning solutions.
• Identifies the measures and key performance indicators to determine the success of learning interventions, and report impact of learning programs against set metrics to business and GLD stakeholders.
• Collaborates with business stakeholders, SMEs, Learning Creation and Learning Portfolio Office to evolve/modify learning solutions as needed.
• Collaborate with HR business partners in business area to integrate learning solutions with other talent-related initiatives.
• Ensure accurate forecasts.
• Addresses project risk.

Required:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, or currently in pursuit of degree completion, or equivalent relevant work experience in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Education and related disciplines
• Minimum 6 years’ experience (with Masters’ degree, minimum experience is 4 years)
• Experience with stakeholder management (i.e., building rapport, effective communication, establishing trust).
• Experience consulting independently or in partnership with colleagues to deliver business outcomes.
• Experience leveraging internal networks to influence stakeholders.

Preferred:

Experience in the areas of learning, talent, HR, or comparable areas; experience in applicable technical/professional areas pertinent to the division / function served (e.g., R&D, manufacturing, sales/marketing, etc.)

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Expected salary range:
$97,680.00 – $153,700.00
