Associate Director, Financial Planning, Evaluation and Analysis (FPE&A), US Human Health Finance

Under the supervision of the US Financial Planning, Evaluation and Analysis (FPE&A), Finance Director, the Associate Director will work closely with US Commercial teams as a key financial and strategic business partner to support the goals and growth of our Company’s US Human Health business.

The Associate Director is responsible for coordinating forecasting, budgeting, and financial evaluation activity for the US Human Health Market.-The Associate Director partners closely with cross functional teams, including marketing, sales, procurement, legal, compliance and corporate teams to evaluate business performance and identify, evaluate and execute strategic opportunities.

The Associate Director will develop a deep understanding of their business area and their strategic contribution to the broader Company enterprise. A successful candidate will have an intrinsic curiosity about the healthcare industry, a dedication to serving customers, a passion for learning, and an eagerness to collaborate in solving complex business challenges. The position operates with significant independence, requires an enterprise mindset, effective communication, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate across a broad network of stakeholders.

This position is based in Upper Gwynedd, PA.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinate financial planning activities (Actuals, Budget, Long Range Operating Plans, and other forecasts) while ensuring proper linkage with Global and Corporate teams
• Planning process and system management to facilitate financial and headcount planning and reporting.- Oversight of US financial system architecture.-
• Maintain strict focus on compliance, ensuring integrity of reported financial results and forward looking estimates
• Partner with finance, marketing, sales, operations, market access, market research and other teams to assess business performance
• Provide strategic and financial insight on key business decisions and new initiatives, including business development; develop, evaluate, and present business cases to senior leaders
• Evaluate and communicate market, product, and financial performance drivers.
• Financial analysis related to Fair Market Value assessments
• P&L line responsibility for Product Costs and Royalty Expense

Position Qualifications:

Education Minimum Requirement:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business-related discipline

Required Experience and Skills:

• Minimum 5 years experience in Finance / Accounting or business analytics role, including FP&A.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Master of Business Administration
• Strong compliance focus, financial acumen, analytical skills, and knowledge of finance systems and planning and reporting processes
• High degree of business acumen and demonstrated ability to provide strategic guidance
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build diverse peer and client relationships
• Passion and intellectual curiosity with respect to healthcare industry
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry–
• Strong computer skills, Expertise in Excel, Power Point, Thinkcell, SAP reporting system (BPC)
• Comfortable employing financial modeling methods, tools and IT applications to collect, analyze, synthesize and validate financial data to proactively identify issues and drive complex business decisions
• Ability to adopt and apply new technology, techniques, and ways of working
