Medasource Hiring for Account Resolution Specialist Job at Remote Full Time

Position: Professional Billing Account Resolution Specialist

Location: 100% remote

Duration: 6-month contract (strong likelihood of permanent hire)

Start Date: ASAP

Our client is looking for additional resources to work directly under the manager to help with projects and high volume claims. These professionals will be dealing with high volume and duplicate claims to keep them out of the regular workflow queue.

Responsibilities

• Follow trends within denials and claims in system
• PB Insurance Follow Up Epic Experience (able to review and work in WQs)
• Experience with using WQ filters and/or sort WQs
• Follow up activities, notating accounts, etc

• Access payor websites (ability to check eligibility, claim status, view remittances, upload records, submit appeals and reconsiderations when applicable
• Knows how to read an EOB/ERA
• Can successfully complete reconsiderations and appeals
• Complete phone calls to insurance companies to work through claims
• Resolve and work through denial codes (CVM, hospital medicine, family medicine)
• Ability to complete special projects timely and accurately
• Able to meet a minimum productivity standard of 45 invoices per 8 hour day
• Demonstrates effective communication
• Ability to multi task and adapt to change quickly

Qualifications

• Minimum education of high school diploma.
• 2-3 years of experience in A/R and/or denial coding in professional/physician billing (not hospital/facility)
• 2 years of experience in Epic
• Experience working with ICD-10, CPT coding
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong attention to detail with a dedication to accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
