This role is primarily remote with the expectation to attend designated onsite leadership meetings with advanced notice (travel will be reimbursed per MGB policy).
Role Overview
Responsible for driving accuracy and efficiency of Mass General Brigham Revenue Cycle Performance Management initiatives and leading the integrated functions for Quality Education & Training, Reporting & Analytics, Operations Improvement, and Automation / RPA across Hospital and Professional Billing. The Revenue Cycle Performance Excellence Executive Director works to improve overall operational effectiveness in service of patients. They work to streamline education and training practices, bring cutting-edge Analytics solutions to MGB Revenue Cycle, continuously improve current state processes, and identify and champion leading Revenue Cycle automation opportunities.
Key Interactions
Peer Revenue Cycle Leaders | Collaborate to identify opportunities to enhancing training / education, address reporting concerns / challenges, increase automation, and improve operational performance across Revenue Cycle teams.
Vendor Strategy Team | Communicate vendor performance considerations.
Revenue Cycle Transformation Team | Collaborate to evaluate New Projects related to Quality / Training, Reporting & Analytics, Automation, or Ops. Improvement, to create a cohesive Revenue Cycle Strategic plan, and to understand allocated team budget.
External Organizations and Agencies | Liaise on behalf of Revenue Cycle to internal / external organizations, including govt. agencies, payer organizations, vendors, & business partners.
Revenue Cycle Stakeholders | Communicates with key Rev. Cycle stakeholders, including peer leaders of Rev. Cycle Operations and other core support departments (e.g., human resources, finance).
