Mary Johnson Children’s Center Hiring for Early Education Teacher Job at Middlebury, VT Full Time

The associate teacher assists in creating a classroom environment that honors and celebrates the extraordinary capability of each child and where the talent and potential of each child is respected and nourished. Applicant will support classroom goals and bring in new ideas to help create a rich environment for early education, as well as assist in creating an innovative learning environment based on the principles of a negotiated curriculum and using the cycle of inquiry. Applicant will assist in ensuring that each child’s basic needs are met, including the need for affection, acceptance, and comfort.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor or Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, or if the undergraduate degree is not in Early Childhood Education, professional experience and teacher licensure in Early Childhood Education.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.50 – $21.00 per hour
