Job Title: Customer Service/Dispatcher

Reports to: Transit Dept Head

Job Summary:

Looking for someone with strong communication and dependable to join our team.

The Customer Service/Dispatcher will play an important role within our Transit Department. This position will correspond with our Transit supervisors as well as our Safety department to address customer concerns and inquiries and resolve customer complaints. As a dispatcher you will act as a coordinator between our drivers, supervisors, and mechanics. You will also be a key communicator in our partnership with Marin Transit. This is a 40 hour a week position Wed-Sunday, in our home office in San Rafael.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

• Investigate customer complaints and inquires
• Coordinate with Transit team resolve any customer concerns
• Call customers to follow up on customer complaints and their resolution
• Correspond with Safety dept to ensure all customer issues are addressed

Dispatcher:

• Monitoring our CAD/AVL system
• Tracking sign in/out by all drivers
• Ensure data is reporting properly within the system
• Create tickets for non-functioning units
• Responsible for seeing equipment through repair/maintenance process
• Troubleshooting equipment issues and responding to drivers
• Participate in monthly operation meetings between Marin Airporter and Marin Transit
• Assist customer service department
• Assist with general administrative duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 per hour
