Title: Account Executive (Salesperson)

Location: Chicago NW Suburbs (Candidates MUST be local)

Reports To: President/General Manager

DMS Packaging Services (www.dmspack.com), a small/midsized Contract Packaging company in Elk Grove Village is looking for an energetic, committed Account Executive. A “Go-Getter” who will invest themselves into the position from day 1 and be handsomely rewarded for their efforts.

Position Summary: Develops and maintains favorable relationships with new and existing clients to maintain and increase revenue. Ensures that organizational goods or services consistently meet client needs.

Essential to this Position:

• SELLING YOU’RE A$% OFF!
• Proactively prospects for new business opportunities with existing and potential customers.
• Provides updates on sales activities as determined by management through faithful use of company CRM system and providing input to other reporting tools as necessary.
• Understands the competitive environment to gather and provide input for pricing strategies
• Maintains and shares industry, professional and technical knowledge by networking, attending industry events, and reviewing professional publications.

Experience Required:

• At least 5 years related experience.

Critical Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities:

• Selling “Solutions” vs “Products” – Experience helpful/preferred.
• History of meeting or beating customer expectations.
• Demonstrating honesty, integrity, and strong ethics
• Working effectively within a team
• Identify and developing potential clients and opportunities for growth.

Additional Details:

• Primarily works in an office environment.
• Frequent local travel required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
