You are:
- A self-motivated, proactive enterprise sales professional with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets by selling complex technology solutions (network infrastructure, managed services, professional services, contact center, cloud migration, etc.).
- Skilled in lead development, business problem identification and building relationships with business stakeholders outside the IT organization.
- Knowledgeable about and well-connected with the technology partners who can advance our sales pursuits and have established connections in the technology community.
- Accountable for impeccable funnel and deal management and experienced in maintaining a viable 90-day funnel and high closing ratio.
- You abhor groupthink AND can work well in a team; you are comfortable leading from here you are and you consider giving and receiving feedback a gift; you know how to lose quickly and win consistently.
The Main Responsibilities
- Achieving sales targets by activating dormant relationships, engineering active with the key stakeholders in the target account and instituting a rigorous meeting cadence will clients in your module.
- Providing accurate and detailed weekly forecast and upside, with a clear path to monthly target attainment
- Responsible for developing new sales with Large and Key Enterprise client in the designated target market by identifying new sales opportunities by rigorous prospecting in-person meetings, networking, lead generation, proposal submission, and customer appointments.
- Identifies, qualifies, negotiates, and closes new sales opportunities in order to meet and exceed established sales targets.
- Provides comprehensive account plans and strategies to win new business from existing accounts.
What We Look For in a Candidate
- Ability to assess the target accounts and build an effective business plan within 60 days of joining the team.
- Ability to work to expand your external referral network, leverage Lumen’s technology partners & participate in business events to develop new prospects and large deals.
- Practical understanding of the key technology trends and primary business challenges that client sin the financial, healthcare, manufacturing and retail vertical face.
- Good working understanding of how market and economic conditions impact client’s purchasing behavior.
- Experience with several research tools and sources of information on both private and publicly traded companies that will inform your business plan and go-to-market actions.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
