Linfield University seeks an experienced professional to join the School of Nursing team as a Clinical Facilities Coordinator. The
Clinical Facilities Coordinator (CFC) manages the operations of the clinical education program with the Director of Clinical Education in
the School of Nursing (SON). The CFC maintains a comprehensive knowledge of the clinical placement process and its programs, personnel,
policies, and procedures. Review of applications will begin immediately and will remain open through Sunday May 22, 2022.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage incoming and current student & faculty
compliance (currently Complio) including communicating to address compliance requirements.
• Supervise background
checks on faculty and students, approve in compliance database. Provide information to Dean of Nursing about flagged items and communicate
decisions to (prospective) students.
• Request clinical placements via email and nursing education database (currently
ACEMAPP), follow up to ensure placements are secured, enter student and preceptor data.
• Manage, communicate, and
audit clinical requirements for students and faculty, submit accurate data to clinical partners related to site access.
• Build
and facilitate relationships with clinical units and agencies.
• Meet with clinical course coordinators regularly to assist with
placement issues and requests.
• Manage existing relationships with clinical agencies – affiliation agreements,
orientations for students, ensuring all clinical placements are properly requested, logged, and monitored.
• Support students to
assist in their understanding of and compliance with clinical placement
requirements.
• Troubleshoot clinical placement
challenges in conjunction with students, faculty and staff.
• Maintain relationships with other nursing education institutions
and remain updated on current information relevant to clinical placements (currently via Student MAX Connections) via web
conferences, monthly in-person meetings, emails, and Student MAX Board & Focus Group membership and participation.
• Provide current information regarding clinical placements to clinical course coordinators to place, monitor and assist
students.
• Facilitate or contribute to SON meetings as needed related to duties.
• Update clinical databases as
students repeat courses, take and return from leaves of absence, graduate, and withdraw.
• Manage SON cohort email alias
groups.
• Administer and manage surveys and interviews related to clinical placements.
• Manage work-study students
on projects relating to areas of responsibility.
• Facilitate verification and payment of invoices for products under position
purview.
• Create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations to support areas of responsibility.
• Other tasks to
facilitate effective functioning of the SON as needed or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, time management and
attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to manage stressful situations with discretion, diplomacy, sound judgment and
initiative, particularly as it relates to handling sensitive or confidential information.
• Minimum intermediate level computer
skills including Microsoft Office and online applications.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize competing
deadlines.
• Flexible, pragmatic, and creative approach to teamwork and process updates.
• Genuine appreciation for
nursing education and belief in the importance of supporting Linfield students.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, a good
driving record, the ability to become/remain certified to drive Linfield University vehicles.
Preferred
Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree with previous higher education or student support experience.
•
Intermediate to high level computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel, Adobe, Colleague, ACEMAPP, American
Databank, Complio, and other nursing related databases
• Ability to delegate tasks and perform in a collaborative setting.

Work is performed in office environments. Constant sitting, seeing (viewing
computer monitor), talking, hearing, and repetitive hand, wrist, and finger movement. Must be able to operate in a noisy and distracting
environment. Frequent walking, standing, climbing stairs. Occasional lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 25 pounds. May be exposed to
weather elements when going from building to building, or when traveling to clinical agencies.
