Montessori Inspired Spanish Immersion preschool is searching for a reliable, trustworthy, and innovative teacher to join our Community. The Teacher’s responsibilities include creating lesson plans focused on developing social, physical, intellectual, and emotional skills, assessing children’s individual needs, and communicating with parents as required. You should be able to create a nurturing, stimulating classroom where every child feels included. To be successful as a Teacher, you should be a lifelong learner who inspires a love for learning in your students. Outstanding candidates can accept failure, learn from their mistakes, and embrace creativity and independence.

Requirements:

• Native in Spanish or native-like fluency
• A passion to work with the 18mo to 6 age group.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood, Education, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• Willing to pursue and complete Montessori Certification.
• An ability to teach groups of children of varying ages, needs, and abilities.
• Ability to spend most of the time standing or moving.
• Physical activities including bending stooping, lifting, climbing, carrying, walking and or reaching on a frequent basis.
• Patience and excellent observational, communication, and diagnostic skills.
• The ability to multitask, keep calm under pressure, and treat everyone with empathy and respect.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Open minded and ready to embrace all the cultures in its diversities

Hours: Part Time and Full Time options available
