Job purpose

This position is responsible for fostering learning and development to drive organizational performance, productivity, and results. Assesses company-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives and identifies and arranges suitable training solutions for employees at all levels. This position actively searches, creatively designs, and implements effective methods to educate, enhance and recognize performance.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develops training and development programs and objectives.
• Identifies the largest areas of training needs and prioritizes them appropriately.
• Works with Department Managers to create a standardized new hire training curriculum.
• Capitalizes on the LinkedIn learning platform to promote continual education.
• Ensures training is aligned with the organization’s goals.
• Conducts annual training and development needs assessment. Builds programs to close skill gaps.
• Creates leadership development programs for emerging leaders, new leaders, current leaders, and leaders of leaders.
• Develops effective training materials utilizing a variety of media. Reviews and selects training materials from a variety of vendors.
• Trains and coaches managers and others involved in employee development efforts,
• Takes an active role in Keter’s mentor program.
• Participates in annual talent review and serves as a consultant to senior leaders.
• Drives completion of individual development plans (IDPs) and helps managers with career coaching conversations.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• Five years of experience designing and implementing employee development programs.
• Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) credential preferred.
• SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.
