Jones Networking is recruiting for a bilingual, motivated, self-starter to join a growing Human Resources Team in Sterling, VA. In this role, you will assist with workers’ compensation activities, benefits administration, on-boarding, payroll support, employee translations, and other related HR tasks and projects. HR Assistant Position Summary:
-Assist with on-boarding and off-boarding employees
-Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries and assist with employee relations activities
-Provide support to employees in various topics such as leaves, compensation, payroll, workers compensation, etc.
-Maintain records of personnel-related data
-Prepare personnel related reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and trends
-Assist in ad-hoc HR projects
-Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
-Assist Farsi speaking employees with inquiries and perform translations as needed
-May assist with reviewing employee time punches and payroll support as requested
HR Assistant Qualifications Summary:
-Minimum one year of Human Resources experience working for an employer within the United States
-Verbal fluency in English and Farsi / Persian required
-New hire orientation and on-boarding experience
-Employee relations experience desired
-Payroll experience or general payroll processing knowledge a plus
-Knowledge of employment / labor laws
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; ADP a plus
