Compensation Analyst – Temp
Position Summary
As a member of our Total Rewards team, the Compensation Analyst will hold an integral role in maintaining and supporting the development of our compensation programs at IPG Health. The Compensation Analyst will report to the Associate Director of Compensation. This role will participate in the job evaluations (including equity reviews, market data analysis, FLSA exemption reviews), validating and maintaining the integrity of IPG Health’s newly developed job architecture. This role will assist with processes such as the annual merit review cycle and salary survey participation.
Essential Functions
* Assist the Associate Director of Compensation in the formulation of annual recommendations for updates to the company’s salary structure (this includes responding to request for internal equity validation or other miscellaneous salary queries).
* Benchmark salary data against internal data in the determination of company’s competitive position. Compile data and ensure accurate data submission to multiple external market surveys.
* Review and analyze returned external market surveys for reasonableness of prior submission matches. Share salary survey insights to provide “value-add” market trends and data guidance to HR Partners and business units.
* Work with the other members of the Compensation team to gather data and build tools to analyze and maintain data accuracy in our HR systems and respond to compensation related queries.
* Responsible for administrative tasks within the Compensation function.
* Work on other ad hoc projects as assigned.
Required
* A minimum of 3 years as a Compensation Analyst
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR or another related field
* Excellent Excel skills with experience using pivot tables, and VLOOKUP’s.
* Experienced with HRIS platforms such as Workday and Peoplesoft.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
* Knowledge of compensation programs, benchmarking and as well as administration of both salaried and hourly employees.
Preferred
* Knowledge of human resource laws, regulations, and best practices are a plus.
* Current knowledge of government rules and regulations, including FLSA and other applicable Labor and/or Tax laws are a plus.
