Job Description
IRC Background: The mission of the International Rescue Committee (IRC) is to help people whose lives and livelihoods are shattered by conflict and disaster to survive, recover, and gain control of their future. Founded in 1933, the IRC has a presence in over 40 countries and 27 offices in the United States; the IRC leads the way from harm to home. IRC opened an office in Seattle in 1976 and provides a continuum of services including intensive case management, employment and economic empowerment services, immigration assistance, health and wellness programming, and education support to refugee and immigrant families in Washington State. Job Overview: IRC’s Washington Survivor Services Department, which includes the Family Wellness, Unaccompanied Children’s Services and Washington Anti-Trafficking Response Network (WARN) programs, provides trauma-informed, culturally, and linguistically responsive person-centered services to survivors of harm. We offer support as they rebuild their lives free from trauma and exploitation. The Survivor Services Manager supports Family Wellness & WARN Advocates and WARN partners, manages provision of services, coordinates referrals, engages with community stakeholders/partners, provides training and outreach, and supports grant and budget management.

Internal: WARN Team, Family Wellness Team, Resettlement Team, Employment Team, Immigration Team, Youth Program Team, New Roots Team, Health Empowerment Team, Volunteer Coordinator, Finance Team, Operations Team, Development Team.
External: API Chaya, REST, KIND, Northwest Justice Project, Northwest Immigrant Rights Project, Seattle Police Department, US Attorney’s Office, Homeland Security Investigations, Washington Advisory Committee on Trafficking, City of Seattle Human Services Division, Washington State Office for Crime Victim Advocacy, Washington State Task Force Against Trafficking in Persons, and additional partners.
