The IT Administrator is responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of the company’s computer systems, servers, and data security systems. The administrator ensures that internal IT structure of the enterprise remains up to date. Administrators avert possible cyber-attacks for greater productivity as per company policies and procedures.

• Manage electronic equipment.
• Install network and computer systems.
• Maintain, repair and upgrade the operating system including hardware and software.
• Monitor the performance of existing computer systems and IT infrastructures.

The IT Administrator is accountable for maintaining the organizational IT network, servers, and security systems.

The Administrator will help the company’s employees with basic needs, set up new users and run backups, adjust security settings, and retrieve passwords.

Apart from regular office job duties, the Administrator will at times need to visit other company offices to perform job functions.

IT Administrator capabilities:

• Assesment of present network servers, operating systems and security layer.
• Ability to upgrade hardware and software programs.
• Can install and implement effective security systems.
• Will perform data backup and recovery processes.
• Able to resolve issues with systems and programs.

IT Administrator Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and maintaining networks and servers.
• Upgrading, installing and configuring new hardware and software to meet company objectives.
• Implementing security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats.
• Creating user accounts and performing access control.
• Liaison for outside vendors providing telephone services, VOIP, alarm systems, cameras, etc.
• Documenting processes, as well as backing up and archiving data.
• Data retrieval and recovery procedures.
• Serving as central contact and company administrator for our medical EHR software.
• Pricing and purchasing equipment and software as needed to maintain functionality.
• Keeping up to date with advancements and best practices in IT administration

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $58,000.00 per year
