A Customer Service/Administrative Specialist is responsible for helping customers and team members, updating project details, and communicating the status of all jobs (daily). The job requires strong communication and clerical skills as well as tremendous attention to detail.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Scan and file documents.
- Obtain information from customers and complete Job Authorizations promptly.
- Complete daily:
- Customer data
- Time entry for payroll purposes
- Sort/Match-up billing data
- Complete billing packets for accounting.
- Provide information containing data and results to customers or ISS staff.
- Assist ISO Management Representative as needed.
- Adhere to all ISS policies, processes and procedures, specific job instructions,
and follow set breaks, safety rules and dress code.
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
- Dependability: Arrives at work on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction, and solicits feedback to improve performance.
- Interpersonal Skills: Is open to others’ ideas and has a willingness to accept constructive feedback.
- Oral Communication: Speaks clearly and professionally to customers and coworkers.
- Written Communication: Proofread and edit spelling, grammar, and mathematics
as well as read and interpret written information. - Data Entry: Experience or skill entering data into a database or computer program.
- Confidentiality: Does not communicate proprietary information to anyone outside of ISS.
- Quality Control: Maintains attention to detail and accuracy to ensure consistent quality.
- Bilingual: Fluency in English and Spanish. (Preferred but not mandatory)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Sitting for long periods of time
- Occasional walking and standing
- Occasional bending and reaching (filing)
- Frequent repetitive work with hands
- Occasional lifting
Schedule Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour (Rate is based on experience)
