Job Description
The salary range for this role is $110,000.00- $130,000.00 and is commensurate with experience.
Relocation is available if required.This position offers a hybrid work arrangement based in Bloomington, IN with travel between both
Bloomington and Indianapolis campus and a regular presence at both locations.
The IU Foundation, in partnership with
the Paul H. O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs, is seeking an excellent fundraising leader to serve as Executive
Director of Development.
Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Development at the IU Foundation with a dual reporting line to
the Dean of the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs, this position plays an integral leadership role in the
philanthropic and outreach efforts of the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs.
The Executive Director of
Development creates and leads the strategic direction for a comprehensive and coordinated advancement program that includes all aspects of
fundraising, alumni engagement, annual fund, corporate and foundation relations, planned giving, and major and principal gifts with emphasis
on major gift fundraising. The position leads a team of advancement staff directly and also collaborates closely with the School’s
internal resources and IU Foundation services to ensure a comprehensive and donor-centered advancement program.
