Position Summary:
IEM is looking to bring on Full Time-Grant Management Specialist III (GMS III) will support IEM’s Team with its efforts, working hand-in-hand with the state /local government and private non-profit representatives to guide them through the Grants process. IEM’s GMS III is responsible for assisting applicants with implementing and managing their Federal grants (BEAD or other grant programs) and providing grants-related assistance and service for IEM’s management and staff.
The GMS III has an intermediate level of proficiency of demonstrated experience in applying the rules and regulations to situations encountered within the respective grant program they have prior experience with and has the required practical experience.
The GMS III understands and can discuss the application and implication of changes to the rules and regulations and process changes within his/her areas of expertise. The GMS II must be capable of coaching the GMS I as well as assist in the development of reference and resource materials.
