Description
Reporting to the Executive Director of Student Counseling Services, the Staff
Psychologist is a licensed, doctoral level psychologist with at least two years of post-licensure supervision experience. This individual
will be primarily responsible for the clinical assessment, counseling, and referral of students at Hofstra University. The Staff
Psychologist collaborates with faculty, staff, students, families, and other providers in order to facilitate counseling, referrals and to
promote the well-being of students. They will also be responsible for the clinical supervision of doctoral trainees in Student Counseling
Services APPIC Internship and NYNJADOT Externship programs.
