The Payroll Analyst will work with and support the Human Resources department and will be responsible for auditing data integrity between HRIS and Payroll, resolving discrepancies, managing daily HR/Payroll integrations, and payroll reconciliations. This position will also serve as a backup for the payroll processing team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of company payrolls.

What does the role involve?
- Supports the Payroll department by completing payroll processing duties as needed, including assisting with payroll tax registration, system audits, reconciliations, internal reporting, processing payrolls, periodic tax reporting, and other tasks.
- Ensure payroll is processed in an accurate, compliant, and timely manner including processing off cycle payroll as needed.
- Audit data integrity between Workday and ADP including master data, timesheets, and tax Jurisdictions.
- Partner with Benefits to ensure accurate processing of benefits-related deductions.
- Ensure leave of absence payments are processed accurately.
- Ensure payroll adheres to relevant laws, tax codes, and company policies.
- Investigate and resolve payroll issues, discrepancies, and errors.
- Prepare and process garnishments.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual payroll tax filings including researching and resolving tax issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to address payroll-related concerns.
- Submit required documentation to treasury, banks, service providers, internal teams and others as needed.
- Provide support on special projects, as assigned by management.
- Execute timely, corrective action as necessary and in accordance with company policy if an error or discrepancy is discovered.
- Identify process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
- Additional duties as assigned.

What you need is:
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent working experience, required
- Minimum five (5) years prior payroll processing experience, required
- In-depth knowledge of multi-state/multi-national payroll, required
- Demonstrated experience in Workday and ADP payroll systems
- Knowledge of payroll policies and procedures and knowledge of taxes, laws, and regulations pertaining to payroll
