The Maintenance Mechanic 3 (MM3) specialize in one trade or craft but perform journey-level and semi-skilled work in a variety of disciplines. The MM3 performs construction, maintenance, repair and modification of buildings, facilities, mechanical equipment, machinery and specific apparatus and utilize a working knowledge of several related skill fields such as plumbing, electrical, welding, carpentry, and machinist work. Additionally this position requires knowledge and ability to work/manage the organizations Direct Digital (DDC) systems and pneumatic controls.
This position is a classified full-time position, which is eligible for overtime. Schedule: Mon -Fri 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Salary Information:
The above salary range reflects the starting step of Range 50 (Step G) and ending step (Step M) salary for this classified position and includes a 5% King County compensation provision. As a new employed classified employee, based on annual increments, it will take 3 years to reach Step L on the salary schedule, 9 years to reach step M on the salary schedule. This does not reflect any contractual changes, legislative mandated salary increases or Cost of Living Increases (COLA’s) that may be approved in the future.
