The Provider Recruiter is responsible for design, development and maintenance of the provider recruitment program, provider onboarding and provider privileging. May also assist with executive level recruitment by request. This position requires a service-oriented individual with the ability to manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced, team environment. The Provider Recruiter must manage multiple conflicting priorities, demonstrate a high attention to detail and form effective partnerships with Heritage Health leadership, candidates, peers, service providers and academic institutions. This position will include requisition management, job posting content, sourcing, screening/interviewing, candidate offer/closing, completion of the onboarding and privileging processes for providers and the biannual renewal of provider privileges. This position serves as an ambassador for Heritage Health.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in a related field and three-years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Healthcare recruiting experience preferred. HR related certification preferred (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, CHRC, or RACR)

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for all aspects of the recruiting, credentialing, re-credentialing and privileging processes for all medical, dental and behavioral health providers delivering patient care, ensuring timely renewal of licenses and certifications.
2. Coordinates the privileging process for all providers.
3. Onboarding new providers. Helping new providers learn the company policies, showing new hires their job duties, scheduling start dates and gathering necessary paperwork.
4. Designs, develops, and maintains provider recruitment program.
5. Acts as a primary point of contact for all provider recruitment activity.
6. Coordinates job requisitions, job announcements and advertisements for open positions.
7. Screens and conducts initial phone interviews, schedule team-based and other interviews, conduct reference and background checks and prepare offer letters.
8. Coordinates initial and on-going contact with applicants.
9. Coordinates candidates travel for interviews.
10. Schedules candidates for interview with appropriate stakeholders and prepare interview schedule.
11. Escorts candidates during the interview ensuring smooth interview process.
12. Promotes the city/town and the surrounding areas highlighting its many opportunities.
13. Solicits and records comments from candidates; answer questions; and follow up action as necessary.
14. Manages new hire orientation to include pre- and post-hire requirements and coordinating orientation schedules.
15. Coordinates feedback with other stakeholders involved in the interview process.
16. Builds and maintains relationships with internal and external recruiting customers.
17. Participates and represent the health center in appropriate job fairs and networking events.
18. Maintains a working knowledge of trends in recruiting by reading articles, publications and other information to stay current on best practices.
