Provide IT technical assistance to properties and computer system users. Answer questions, research issues, propose/implement solutions, and/or resolve computer problems in person, via telephone or from remote location. May provide assistance concerning the use of many types of computer hardware and software, including installation, upgrades, monitoring, security, operating systems, point-of-sale systems, property management systems, interfaces, printers, electronic mail, network activities, and internet uses.

Company Description – Entrepreneurial growing Hospitality company (restaurants, hotels, real estate development) in 11 Markets in 6 Midwest States; 51 Operating Properties with several under development, supported by our Operations Support Center in Moline, IL; approximately 1,500 employees; 400 computer users.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide support and technical issue resolution via email, phone and other electronic medium.
• Gain an overall understanding of IT environment/systems and business operations.
• Provide training in the use of systems and applications.
• Troubleshooter for various PC issues and software upgrades.
• Identify, advise and correct operational issues in computer systems.
• Perform creation of new accounts, users, and passwords as needed.

The Ideal candidate will also possess the following skills:

• Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
• Able to promptly answer support related email, phone calls and other electronic communications.
• Self motivated, detail-oriented and organized.
• Experience with hardware and software applications and problems/issues.
• Proficient in Internet related applications such as E-Mail clients and Web Browsers.
• Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
• NCR Aloha POS experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
