GLG Looking for Manager, Corporate Accounting at Austin, TX Full Time
Job Description
We are currently looking for a Manager, Accounting for our Austin, TX office. We seek a dynamic individual with excellent knowledge of key accounting functions and strong analytical and communication skills. This role will report to the Director of Accounting and collaborate with a team of finance and accounting professionals based in Austin, New York and in Gurugram, India. The Manager, Accounting will play a pivotal role with completing the month close and year end activities, contributing to the accurate and timely reporting of financial results to our internal and external stakeholders. Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual consolidations in OneStream
- Preparing financial statements
- Managing statutory audits of a number of overseas subsidiaries
- Support in preparing stock option and deferred compensation calculations
- Assist with technical accounting research
- Preparing and reviewing account reconciliations
- Support in facilitation of the global audit and contact with external auditors
An ideal candidate will have the following:
- Professional degree in accounting, CPA or equivalent preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP
- Previous experience with global consolidations
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Organized and attention to detail.
- Ability to take decisions and solve practical problems.
- Proficiency with accounting systems (knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains and experience with OneStream a plus)
- Familiarity with SQL or other data analytic and reporting tools a plus
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Working Environment: Flexible / Hybrid working arrangements typically requiring 2 days per week in office.
Compensation: GLG is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. Certain roles may also be eligible for incentive compensation.
The anticipated hiring base salary range for this role is:
$69,500–$110,000 USD
